Social media has changed our lives, for better and for worse. In 2010, news site Mashable picked June 30 as Social Media Day to celebrate our global connections through our digital profiles.
Certainly, social media has drastically changed how we communicate with each other, and how we learn about the world around us. For businesses, it has turned us all into salespeople and marketers and customer service reps. And for our customers, it has become a source of peer reviews and recommendations.
In Birmingham, we share our triumphs on social media, as well as our challenges.
