We gave away our first two Y’all Connect passes over the weekend.
The first one went to our friend Javacia Harris Bowser (@writeousbabe), a teacher by trade and an awesome force in Birmingham. Her blogs include the Writeous Babe Project and See Jane Write, a professional group for Birmingham’s women bloggers.
Today coincidentally marks her seventh wedding anniversary with husband Edd.
We wanted to recognize Javacia’s dedication to our city, our bloggers and our sisters by awarding her a golden ticket.
At her bloggers’ brunch for See Jane Write on Sunday, we gave a golden ticket to a randomly drawn attendee, Katie Frost (@HemsforHer).
Katie’s site, Hems for Her, offers insights into plus-size fashion and glimpses into her life in Birmingham.
